To choose a ripe pineapple, smell the bottom for sweetness and feel for a slight give when pressed. Additionally, a leaf from the top should pull out easily.

Store leftover smoothie in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Mix in lemon juice or Ball's Fresh Fruit powder to help keep it from browning. It can also be frozen for 2-3 months. Reblend before consuming.
