14 - 1 tbsp flour for filling.
15 - 1 tbsp ground Ceylon cinnamon.
16 - 170g powdered sugar.
17 - 1 tsp vanilla paste for glaze.

# Instructions:

01 - Line a 34x20cm baking dish with parchment. Melt butter in two parts. Get the oven heated to 170°C fan setting.
02 - Chop apples into small cubes. Mix well with sugar and cinnamon. Let it sit for now.
03 - First, mix the liquids together and the dry stuff in another bowl. Combine both gently until smooth. Fold in the apple chunks.
04 - Blend the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour. Spread this over the batter and swirl around to marble.
05 - Pop it in the oven for 35 minutes at 170°C (fan). Check with a toothpick. Let it cool on a wire rack.
06 - Mix powdered sugar with vanilla paste and milk until smooth. Pour this over once the cake has cooled.

# Notes:

01 - Double the amounts for a larger pan.
02 - The glaze can go on warm or cooled cake.
03 - Tart apple varieties work best for this.
