Cozy Zimtschnecken Kuchen Apfel (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Powdered sugar, 170g.
02 - Milk to make glaze, 6-8 tbsp.
03 - Vanilla paste for glaze, 1 tsp.
04 - Ceylon cinnamon, 1 tbsp.
05 - Flour for filling, 1 tbsp.
06 - Brown sugar, 100g.
07 - Melted butter for filling, 90g.
08 - Sugar for apples, 3 tbsp.
09 - Cinnamon powder for apples, 1 tsp.
10 - Tart apples, 2 pieces.
11 - Melted butter, 50g.
12 - Vanilla paste, 1 tsp.
13 - Fresh eggs, 2.
14 - Fresh whole milk, 250ml.
15 - Cream of tartar baking powder, 3 tsp.
16 - White sugar, 100g.
17 - Fine salt, 1/2 tsp.
18 - All-purpose flour type 405, 320g.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix up powdered sugar, vanilla paste, and milk until it's smooth. Pour everything over the cooled cake.
02 - Bake for 35 minutes at 170°C convection. Check doneness with a toothpick. Let it chill on a rack.
03 - Stir melted butter with brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Spread on top of the batter and swirl.
04 - In different bowls, combine the wet and dry stuff first. Bring them together until smooth. Fold in the apples.
05 - Cut apples in cubes. Toss them with cinnamon and sugar. Set aside for later.
06 - Line a 34x20cm baking tin with parchment. Melt the butter in two goes. Crank oven up to 170°C using fan setting.

# Notes:

01 - Just double all ingredients if you're filling a big tray.
02 - Put the glaze on when it's hot or cold—up to you.
03 - You really want tart apples for best taste.
