2 Medjool dates, pitted

1 Tablespoon instant or rolled oats

1 Tablespoon almond butter

1 Tablespoon vanilla protein powder (optional)

Pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!
# Recipe Notes:

If you don't have frozen banana, use a room-temperature banana and add ½ cup ice to the smoothie for the same refreshing texture.

This recipe makes one smoothie, but you can easily double or triple the ingredients to make more servings.
