# Ingredients:

→ BBQ Chicken

01 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
02 - 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
03 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 2 ½ cups shredded roasted chicken
05 - ½ teaspoon paprika
06 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
07 - 1 cup BBQ sauce
08 - 12 slices Havarti cheese

→ Garlic Butter Bread

09 - ¼ cup butter
10 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
11 - 2 teaspoons parsley, minced
12 - 12 slices sourdough bread or sturdy white bread

# Instructions:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook red onion until softened, about 2 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, approximately 30 seconds. Incorporate the shredded chicken, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and BBQ sauce. Stir well and cook until heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
02 - Combine butter, minced garlic, and parsley in a medium bowl. Microwave until fully melted.
03 - Lay 12 slices of bread on a work surface. Spread the melted garlic butter mixture evenly on one side of each slice. Flip the slices and layer 6 pieces of bread with a slice of Havarti cheese, the BBQ chicken mixture, and another cheese slice. Top with the remaining 6 bread slices, ensuring the buttered side faces outward on both the top and bottom.
04 - Place buttered sandwiches in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook until the bottom sides are golden brown, about 3-5 minutes. Flip sandwiches, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook until the second side is browned and the cheese is melted, about 3-5 minutes.
