Beef Spaghetti Sauce Easy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 pounds ground beef or sausage, or one pound of each
02 - 1 large green pepper, diced
03 - 1 small onion, diced
04 - 3 (15 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
05 - 2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
06 - 6 ounce can tomato paste
07 - 2 tablespoons grape jelly
08 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
09 - 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
10 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
11 - 2 teaspoons dried basil
12 - Salt and pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - In a large pot, on medium heat, brown and crumble the ground beef along with the onions and green pepper. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess grease.
02 - Put the drained beef back into the pot. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Stir well to combine.
03 - Add grape jelly, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and dried basil. Stir the mixture thoroughly.
04 - Cover the pot and allow the mixture to simmer gently on medium heat for at least 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Serve with pasta of choice.
