Creamy Chicken Broccoli Pasta (Printer-Friendly Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Base

01 - 8 ounces penne pasta
02 - 2 chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
03 - 2 cups broccoli florets

→ Sauce

04 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
05 - 1 small onion, diced
06 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
08 - 2 cups whole milk
09 - 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
10 - 1 teaspoon each salt and pepper

# Let's Cook!:

01 - Boil pasta until al dente, add broccoli in last 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
02 - Sauté onion in oil until soft, add garlic and seasonings. Cook 1 minute.
03 - Add flour, cook 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk until thickened. Stir in parmesan until smooth.
04 - Add pasta, broccoli, and chicken to sauce. Heat through 2-3 minutes. Garnish with extra parmesan if desired.
