Gemuesesuppe Haehnchen (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - A dash of freshly grated nutmeg.
02 - Salt, however much you like.
03 - About half a bunch of parsley, roughly 25 grams.
04 - 150 grams of frozen peas.
05 - One small leek stalk, nearly 125 grams.
06 - A quarter kilo of potatoes.
07 - A quarter kilo of carrots.
08 - 300 grams of chicken breast.
09 - A quarter teaspoon of ground black pepper.
10 - Two bay leaves.
11 - 1.2 liters of vegetable broth.

# Instructions:

01 - Scoop out the bay leaves, sprinkle some parsley on top, and dish up nice and hot.
02 - Chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces, dump it back in with the peas, and simmer all that for 3 more minutes. Season it the way you like.
03 - Toss in your cut-up veggies, let that all bubble for 10 minutes. While that’s happening, rinse and chop your parsley.
04 - Wash the leek and slice it into rings. Slice up carrots and potatoes into about the same size.
05 - Bring your broth up to a boil, drop in the bay leaves and black pepper. Give the chicken a wash and let it simmer in there for about 10 minutes.

# Notes:

01 - Lots of protein and barely any fat here.
02 - Potatoes and peas really fill you up.
03 - Awesome when it’s chilly outside.
