Cozy classic chicken soup (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main stuff

01 - 1 big onion
02 - 300g fresh carrots
03 - 150g celeriac
04 - 1 large chicken for soup (or 1 kg chicken drumsticks)
05 - 1 heaping tablespoon salt
06 - 250g tiny soup noodles (stars or letters)

→ Spices

07 - 3 cloves
08 - 1 bay leaf
09 - 3 allspice berries

→ Extra veggies (optional)

10 - A handful of fresh peas
11 - A few Brussels sprouts
12 - 1 leek stalk
13 - 1 kohlrabi

# Instructions:

01 - Toss the chopped chicken, noodles, and any veggies into the steamy broth. Let it bubble about 10 minutes. Sprinkle with herbs and more salt if you want.
02 - Lift out the boiled chicken, onion, and spices from the pot. Give it a few moments to cool off, then shred the meat off the bones and chunk it up.
03 - As the broth simmers, peel and slice up all your veggies into bite-sized pieces.
04 - Peel the onion, then plop it with the chicken, bay leaf, allspice, and cloves in a giant pot. Top off with water, toss in the salt, and let it gently cook away for about an hour.

# Notes:

01 - It tastes even better if you let it sit until tomorrow.
02 - Kids love it, especially with carrots and kohlrabi.
