Cream Cheese Banana Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Banana Bread

01 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar
02 - 6 tablespoons salted butter, room temperature
03 - 1 1/2 ripened bananas (about 1/2 cup mashed bananas)
04 - 1 large egg
05 - 2 1/2 teaspoons whole milk
06 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
07 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

→ Cream Cheese Filling

08 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
09 - 1 large egg
10 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
11 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

# Instructions:

01 - Spray a 9x5 inch loaf pan with cooking spray or line with parchment paper and set it aside.
02 - Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
03 - Use a mixer to beat together the sugar and butter until fully combined.
04 - In the same bowl, beat in the bananas, egg, and milk until smooth, about 1 minute.
05 - On low speed, mix in the flour and baking soda. Do not overmix. Set the batter aside.
06 - In a separate bowl, whisk together cream cheese, egg, sugar, and flour until smooth.
07 - Pour half of the bread batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spread the cream cheese mixture on top, then carefully layer the remaining bread batter on top. Ensure the layers are even and not mixed.
08 - Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and a tester comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before slicing and serving.
