Effortless Butter Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 60 ml oil for frying.
02 - 4 garlic cloves (for sauce).
03 - 15 g ginger.
04 - 1 big onion.
05 - 80 g butter.
06 - 60 g cashews.
07 - 500 ml pureed tomatoes.
08 - 200 ml whipping cream.
09 - 1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves.
10 - Spices for sauce as you like.
11 - 600 g diced chicken.
12 - 4 garlic cloves (for marinade).
13 - 2 tbsp yogurt.
14 - 3 tbsp olive oil.
15 - Juice of half a lemon.
16 - 1/2 tsp turmeric (for marinade).
17 - 1 tsp chili powder, paprika powder, garam masala (for marinade).

# Instructions:

01 - Put chicken into the sauce, toss in the last bit of butter, let it simmer for 3–5 minutes and give it a taste.
02 - Blend the sauce once it's cooled down, pour in the cream, then bring it up to a boil.
03 - Sear the chicken quickly while the sauce is cooling down.
04 - Sweat onions, butter, ginger-garlic paste, spices, and cashews. Add the tomatoes and let it cook for about 6 minutes.
05 - Crush garlic and ginger into a paste with a mortar.
06 - Stir together chicken and all the marinade items, then leave it to soak up flavor for 20 to 30 minutes.

# Notes:

01 - Don’t burn your spices. Let them cook just for a short bit.
02 - Goes best with basmati rice or naan on the side.
