Easy Cheese Danishes Shortcut (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Danishes

01 - 2 (8 ounce) tubes crescent rolls
02 - 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened to room temperature
03 - ¼ cup granulated white sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 2 Tablespoons salted butter, melted
06 - 8 Tablespoons light brown sugar

→ Glaze

07 - ½ cup powdered sugar
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
09 - 4 teaspoons milk

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese with white sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
02 - Separate crescent dough into eight rectangles (there will be two crescent rolls to each rectangle). Seal perforations.
03 - Using a brush or spoon, spread melted butter all over crescent rolls. Sprinkle each rectangle with about 1 Tablespoon of brown sugar.
04 - Roll up each rectangle from the long side, pinching edges to seal. Holding one end, loosely coil each and spread the center of the coil slightly to make room for the cream cheese filling.
05 - Place coiled rolls on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with nonstick spray. Top each coil with about 2 tablespoons of cream cheese filling.
06 - Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
07 - In a bowl, combine powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk. Stir until smooth.
08 - Drizzle glaze over each warm danish before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Softening the cream cheese to room temperature will help achieve a smoother cream cheese filling.
02 - For a more even glaze, use a piping bag or small spoon to drizzle.
