Easy Skillet Lasagna Beef Dish (Print Version)

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1 small onion, diced
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 2 (14 ounce) cans beef broth
05 - 1 (14.5 ounce) can Italian diced tomatoes
06 - 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
07 - 2 cups uncooked mafalda pasta
08 - 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
09 - Grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Brown and crumble ground beef along with diced onions and garlic over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
02 - Stir in beef broth, undrained Italian diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
03 - Stir in uncooked mafalda pasta and simmer for 12-14 minutes until pasta is tender. For a thicker mixture, allow it to simmer longer for more liquid absorption.
04 - Stir in shredded mozzarella cheese until well combined.
05 - Serve the lasagna and top with Parmesan cheese if desired.
