11 - 1 (14 ounce) can red kidney beans, drained
12 - 2 (10.5 ounce) cans Rotel Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies with juices
13 - 1/2 cup water or chicken broth
14 - Salt and pepper, to taste

→ Suggested Toppings

15 - Shredded cheddar cheese
16 - Cilantro
17 - Sour cream
18 - Corn chips or strips
19 - Scallions or red onions
20 - Avocado

# Instructions:

01 - Add olive oil to a Dutch oven or soup pot over medium-high heat. Sauté the onion for about 5 minutes.
02 - Add the ground turkey to the pot and cook for 5 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks.
03 - Stir in the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
04 - Add the kidney beans, Rotel, and water (or chicken broth). Increase heat to high and bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes with the lid slightly open, stirring occasionally.
05 - While the chili is cooking, prepare desired toppings.
06 - Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot with your choice of toppings.

# Notes:

01 - Skip or reduce the cayenne pepper for a milder chili. Original Rotel has a bit of spice, so adjust according to preference. Most chili powders are mild, but double-check if you are concerned about spice levels.
