Effortless Vegan Mince (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 30g chopped almonds.
02 - 2 tbsp tomato paste.
03 - 120ml veggie broth.
04 - 3/4 tbsp tamari or coconut aminos.
05 - 1/4-1/2 tsp salt.
06 - 1/2 tsp smoked paprika.
07 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder.
08 - 1 tsp ground cumin.
09 - 1 tsp chili powder.
10 - 130g grated carrot.
11 - 220g cooked lentils.
12 - 3 cloves garlic, chopped.
13 - 60g onion, diced.
14 - 1/2 tbsp oil.

# Instructions:

01 - Tweak the seasonings if it needs it. Smash a few lentils with a potato masher while you're at it.
02 - Let everything gently bubble for 10 minutes and stir now and then.
03 - Toss in all your spices, tamari or coconut aminos, broth, tomato paste, and almonds and mix well.
04 - Drop in the lentils and grated carrot, give it a good stir.
05 - Heat up your oil in a big skillet, sauté onions for 4 minutes, then toss in the garlic for another minute.
06 - Chop the onion, dice the garlic, and grate your carrot.

# Notes:

01 - Don't mash the lentils too much so it stays chunky.
02 - If you want, skip the oil and just use a splash of water or broth.
