# Ingredients:

→ Ingredients

01 - 8.8 oz (250g) pasta (with 8-11 minutes cooking time)
02 - 1 onion
03 - 1 garlic clove
04 - 8.8 oz (250g) cherry tomatoes
05 - 1/2 bunch fresh basil
06 - 2 tablespoons tomato paste
07 - 1 3/4 cups (400ml) water
08 - 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons (200g) heavy cream (30%) or cooking cream (15%)
09 - 1/3 cup (30g) grated Parmesan cheese
10 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
11 - Freshly ground black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Slice the onion into thin strips and finely chop the garlic. Halve the cherry tomatoes and roughly tear or chop the basil leaves.
02 - Combine the pasta, prepared tomatoes, onion, garlic, tomato paste, water, cream, basil, salt, and pepper in a large pot. Cover with a lid and bring to a boil.
03 - Once boiling, remove the lid and cook the one-pot pasta over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Just before the end of cooking time, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.

# Notes:

01 - This quick one-pot pasta is perfect for busy days since all ingredients cook together in a single pot.
02 - You can easily modify this recipe by adding other vegetables like spinach, zucchini, or bell peppers.
03 - Cooking the pasta directly in the sauce allows it to absorb more flavor, while the pasta starch creates a naturally creamy consistency.
