Cool the macaroni and cheese. Scoop into 1.5-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 20 minutes.

In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Place the panko bread crumbs in a separate shallow bowl.

Dip each mac and cheese ball into the egg mixture, then coat with the panko bread crumbs. Repeat until all balls are coated.

In a large frying pan or saucepan, heat 2-3 inches of vegetable oil to approximately 350°F.

Working in batches, fry the mac and cheese balls in the hot oil for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Remove and place on a plate lined with paper towels.
