Fried Mac and Cheese Balls (Print Version)

01 - 3 cups macaroni and cheese, homemade or store-bought
02 - Vegetable oil for frying
03 - 2 cups panko bread crumbs
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 1/4 cup milk

# Instructions:

01 - Cool the macaroni and cheese. Scoop into 1.5-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 20 minutes.
02 - In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Place the panko bread crumbs in a separate shallow bowl.
03 - Dip each mac and cheese ball into the egg mixture, then coat with the panko bread crumbs. Repeat until all balls are coated.
04 - In a large frying pan or saucepan, heat 2-3 inches of vegetable oil to approximately 350°F.
05 - Working in batches, fry the mac and cheese balls in the hot oil for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Remove and place on a plate lined with paper towels.
06 - Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces and enjoy!
