Garlic Butter Sausage Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the sausage bites

01 - 1 lb (450g) turkey sausage, cut into bite-sized pieces
02 - 4 tbsp unsalted butter
03 - 4 garlic cloves, minced
04 - 1 tsp dried thyme
05 - Salt and pepper, to taste

→ For the creamy Parmesan pasta

06 - 8 oz (225g) pasta (any type)
07 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter
08 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
09 - 1 cup heavy cream
10 - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
11 - Salt and pepper, to taste
12 - Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

# Instructions:

01 - Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
02 - In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the turkey sausage pieces and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and dried thyme. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
04 - Add the heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Continue stirring until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
05 - Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss it in the creamy sauce, coating it evenly.
06 - Add the browned sausage bites back into the skillet, mixing them with the pasta and sauce.
07 - Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
