Garlic Butter Steak Pepper Penne (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 ½ lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
02 - 3 tbsp butter
03 - 1 tbsp olive oil
04 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 tsp salt
06 - ½ tsp black pepper
07 - ½ tsp garlic powder
08 - ½ tsp smoked paprika
09 - ½ tsp dried thyme

→ Creamy Pepper Jack Pasta

10 - 12 oz penne pasta
11 - 2 cups heavy cream
12 - 1 cup shredded Pepper Jack cheese
13 - ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
14 - ½ cup grated Parmesan
15 - 2 tbsp butter
16 - ½ tsp smoked paprika
17 - ½ tsp garlic powder
18 - ½ tsp salt
19 - ½ tsp black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - In a large pot, boil salted water. Add penne and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
02 - Pat steak bites dry and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and thyme. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook steak in batches if necessary, searing each piece for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
03 - Reduce skillet heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the steak bites, stirring to coat. Once combined, remove skillet from heat and set aside.
04 - In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a low simmer. Gradually add Pepper Jack, cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses, stirring until smooth.
05 - Add smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the cheese sauce. Mix well, then fold in cooked penne until fully coated.
06 - Plate pasta and top with garlic butter steak bites. Garnish as desired with fresh herbs or Parmesan.
