Cut the cucumbers into spears and prepare the garlic and dill.

Mix cucumbers, salt, pepper, crushed garlic, and minced dill in a large mixing bowl or a ziplock bag.

Cover and refrigerate the cucumbers for 15-30 minutes or up to a few hours. The cucumbers will soften the longer they are in the refrigerator.
