Greek Yogurt with Fresh Herbs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups plain non-fat Greek yogurt
02 - 3 tablespoons finely minced fresh parsley
03 - 1 tablespoon minced fresh dill
04 - 4 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
05 - 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
06 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
07 - 1 teaspoon sea salt, plus more to taste
08 - Freshly ground black pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Measure the Greek yogurt into a medium bowl. Stir in the parsley, dill, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well incorporated. Taste and adjust the seasonings, adding more salt if necessary.
02 - Cover and chill for at least 4 hours (ideally 8 hours to overnight) to allow the flavors to blend.
03 - Garnish with additional fresh herbs, if desired, and serve with raw veggies and/or pita wedges.

# Notes:

01 - You may use low-fat or full-fat Greek yogurt in place of the non-fat.
02 - Feel free to add or substitute your favorite herbs.
03 - Dried herbs are approximately three times more potent than fresh. Substitute 1 tablespoon dried parsley plus 1 teaspoon dried dill for the fresh herbs in this recipe.
04 - This dip must be chilled for several hours to develop its full flavor. It will taste bland immediately after preparation.
05 - If the dip becomes too thick after chilling, thin it out with a little milk (1 tablespoon at a time) until it reaches your desired consistency.
