If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 1 hour before using to prevent burning.

Preheat grill to medium heat (about 425°F).

In a large bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, soy sauce, honey, sriracha, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper until completely combined. Remove ½ cup of the mixture and place in an airtight container for basting.

Add chicken to the remaining marinade, combine, cover, and chill for 30 minutes to 2 hours.

Once marinated, assemble skewers by alternating chicken, pineapple, bell peppers, and red onion.

Place skewers on an oiled and preheated grill. Brush with reserved marinade. Cook for 5 minutes, then flip and brush with marinade on the other side. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
