Effortless Bohnensuppe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Fresh or frozen green beans, 800 g.
02 - 2 onions.
03 - 1 tbsp butter.
04 - Potatoes, 700 g.
05 - 1 bunch soup veggies (like carrots, leek, celery).
06 - 2 liters veggie broth or beef broth.
07 - Sausages (Wiener or beef), 6 to 8 pieces.
08 - Black pepper.
09 - A pinch of sugar if you like.
10 - Chopped parsley for the top.
11 - Salt.
12 - 1 tbsp savory herb.
13 - 1 tbsp vinegar if you want.

# Instructions:

01 - Toss in beans and sausages, warm everything up, then taste and adjust with spices.
02 - Pour in broth, boil, turn the heat lower, and let it bubble gently for about 25 minutes.
03 - Soften the onions in butter first. Toss in the soup veggies and potatoes. Let them cook together for a bit.
04 - Dice up onions, carrots, and celery. Cut leeks into rings. Chop potatoes into little cubes.
05 - If using fresh beans, boil ‘em with salty water for 10 minutes then drain. If frozen, skip boiling and just add them in.

# Notes:

01 - You can serve sausages on the side if someone doesn’t want them.
02 - Add vinegar and sugar for a touch of extra flavor but you don’t have to.
