Hot Ham and Cheese Crescent (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cans crescent roll dough
02 - 12 slices deli ham (approximately 3/4 pound)
03 - 16 slices pepper jack cheese
04 - 2-3 tablespoons Dijon mustard

→ Butter Topping

05 - 3 tablespoons butter
06 - 1 clove garlic, finely minced
07 - 2 teaspoons fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Roll out one tube of crescent roll dough onto the parchment paper. Bake for 7-8 minutes.
03 - Remove dough from the oven and spread Dijon mustard over the crescent roll dough. Place a layer of cheese on top of the mustard, fold each piece of ham, and layer it on top of the cheese. Top with the remaining cheese slices.
04 - Place the second crescent dough layer on top of the cheese layer.
05 - In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in garlic and parsley. Brush the mixture on top of the second crescent roll layer.
06 - Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Remove from the oven, allow to cool for 5 minutes, slice, and serve.

# Notes:

01 - Tent the crescent rolls with aluminum foil if they brown too quickly.
02 - Feel free to substitute pepper jack with Swiss, Cheddar, Provolone, American, or Mozzarella cheese.
03 - Replace Dijon mustard with other mustards like yellow, spicy brown, stone ground, or honey mustard.
