In a large bowl, combine the snickerdoodle cookie mix, melted butter, and egg. Stir until fully incorporated.

Divide the cookie dough evenly into four small bowls. Knead 3 tablespoons of each flavored gelatin (red, blue, green, yellow) into separate bowls to create four different colored doughs. Use hands for best results.

Place the granulated sugar in a shallow bowl to roll the cookie dough balls.

Scoop out 2-tablespoon portions of dough, roll into balls, and coat evenly in sugar.

Place coated cookie balls on the prepared sheet pan, leaving 2 inches between them. Bake for 10-13 minutes, or until cookie tops are firm and slightly golden. Remove immediately to avoid overcooking.
