Lemon Blueberry Avocado Smoothie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 lemon (zest from whole, juice from half)
02 - 2 cups almond milk, unsweetened (or other plant-based milk)
03 - 2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
04 - 1/2 cup avocado chunks, fresh or frozen
05 - 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
06 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
07 - 2 Tbsp chia seeds
08 - 1/4 tsp cinnamon
09 - Ice, until desired temperature reached (if not using frozen ingredients)

→ Optional Ingredients

10 - Unflavoured or vanilla protein powder or collagen powder

# Instructions:

01 - Wash and dry one lemon. Using a zester or grater, zest the entire peel of one lemon. Then, cut the lemon and juice one half. If desired, taste-test before adding more juice for extra flavour.
02 - Add all ingredients, starting with almond milk, into a high-speed blender.
03 - Blend on high until smooth and creamy. Adjust flavours or liquid amounts to achieve desired taste and consistency. Serve and enjoy.

# Notes:

01 - The zest of 1 lemon and juice of 1/2 lemon provides the perfect balance of flavour. Adjust based on personal preference.
02 - Smoothie leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 1-2 days. Shake well before drinking.
03 - Freeze any extra smoothie in silicone ice trays or muffin tins. Store in a freezer bag and thaw as needed.
04 - Consider switching up ingredients – use alternative milk, protein powder, vegan yogurt, or add spinach for extra greens.
