Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place the canned refried beans in a medium saucepan with ½ cup of water and heat until warm and smooth.

Place a thick layer of tortilla chips on the lined baking sheet.

Spread a thin layer of refried beans over the chips, followed by the carnitas and shredded cheese.

Bake in the oven for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

Remove from oven and sprinkle diced tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, and cilantro on top.

Serve immediately with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa as desired.
