Maple Bacon Carrots Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 pounds carrots, less than ½ inch thick, peeled
02 - 1 pound thin-sliced bacon
03 - ¼ cup maple syrup

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F.
02 - Wrap one slice of bacon tightly around each carrot, starting at the thick end. Avoid overlapping the bacon layers.
03 - Arrange the carrots on a wire rack placed on a baking sheet.
04 - Bake for 25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the carrots are tender.
05 - Remove from the oven and carefully glaze all sides of the carrots with maple syrup.
06 - Bake for an additional 8-10 minutes.
07 - Serve immediately.
