Effortless Harira Chickpeas Soup (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Half a lemon for topping.
02 - Ground black cumin, about half a tablespoon.
03 - Strained tomatoes, 400 grams.
04 - Fresh coriander, 15 grams.
05 - Flat-leaf parsley, 10 grams.
06 - Plain wheat flour, 45 grams.
07 - Dried ginger powder, half a tablespoon.
08 - A pinch of saffron threads.
09 - Half a teaspoon chili powder.
10 - Half a teaspoon ground black pepper.
11 - Fine sea salt, one and a half teaspoons.
12 - One tablespoon tomato paste.
13 - Brown or green lentils, 125 grams.
14 - Cooked chickpeas, 240 grams.
15 - Two tablespoons good olive oil.
16 - Celery root, 100 grams.
17 - A fresh onion.

# Instructions:

01 - Dish it up hot, sprinkle with crushed black cumin, and pop some lemon slices on top.
02 - Pour in your flour blend, let it thicken. If it's too thick, add water and taste for salt.
03 - In a bowl, whisk flour and cold water till smooth. Stir in tomatoes and those fresh herbs.
04 - Drop in the celery, chickpeas, lentils, and all the spices. Give everything a quick fry. Add enough water and simmer twenty minutes.
05 - Chop the onion tiny and cube your celery. Fry onions in olive oil for two minutes till soft.

# Notes:

01 - You can toss in garlic if you want.
02 - Should end up thick, kind of like chili.
03 - Lemon brings a nice zing when you serve it.
