Chop the dried figs into small pieces and soak them in 8 tablespoons of water for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, finely chop the walnuts.

In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, ground almonds, shredded coconut, and cocoa powder.

Puree the soaked figs with their soaking water. Add this puree and the chopped walnuts to the dry ingredients. Knead everything well until combined. If the mixture seems too dry, add a little more water.

Shape the mixture into about 20 small balls with your hands. Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator, where they'll keep for about a week.
