01 - 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled, deveined, and tails removed
02 - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
03 - 1 teaspoon salt
04 - 1/2 teaspoon pepper
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
07 - 2 large eggs
08 - Oil for frying

# Instructions:

01 - Heat approximately 2 inches of oil in a large pot for frying to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or use a deep fryer to heat the oil.
02 - In a bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl and place the panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
03 - Coat the shrimp in the flour mixture, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs, pressing firmly to adhere the breadcrumbs.
04 - Fry the coated shrimp in the hot oil for approximately 1 minute per side until golden brown. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
05 - Allow the shrimp to cool slightly before serving.
