Creamy pasta with caramelized onions (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 8.8 oz (250g) pasta
02 - 2 large yellow onions
03 - 2 garlic cloves
04 - 5.3 oz (150g) Brie cheese

→ Sauce

05 - 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons (200g) heavy cream
06 - 1 tablespoon butter
07 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
08 - 1 ladle pasta cooking water

→ Seasonings

09 - 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or thyme
10 - 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
11 - Salt and freshly ground pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Slice the onions thinly. Mince the garlic. Cut the Brie into pieces.
02 - Cook the onions in butter for 15 minutes. Add oil and continue cooking for another 10 minutes until lightly browned.
03 - Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions.
04 - Briefly sauté the garlic and seasonings with the onions. Deglaze with cream, add the Brie and herbs, and let simmer.
05 - Add the pasta and pasta water, simmer briefly until desired consistency is reached. Adjust seasoning to taste.
