Cut the peaches in the peach pie filling into smaller pieces using a sawing method. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream the unsalted butter, sugar, and salt until light and fluffy using an electric hand mixer or stand mixer.

Spread about 3 cups of the dough into a greased 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Spread the peach pie filling evenly over the dough. Drop the remaining dough by teaspoonfuls over the filling.

Bake on the middle rack for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract (if using), and milk, starting with a little and adding more to reach the desired consistency.
