Pumpkin Donut Holes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 3 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 cup sugar
03 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
04 - 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
05 - 1 teaspoon salt

→ Wet Ingredients

06 - ½ cup buttermilk
07 - 1 cup pumpkin puree, canned
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
09 - 1 large egg
10 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

→ Topping

11 - ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
12 - ¾ cup sugar
13 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F.
02 - Line two baking sheets with silicone baking mats.
03 - In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
04 - In a separate bowl, stir together buttermilk, pumpkin puree, vanilla, egg, and butter.
05 - Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients just until well mixed. Batter will be thick.
06 - Scoop 1 tablespoon amounts of dough and shape them into balls using greased hands.
07 - Place the balls two inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
08 - Bake one sheet at a time for 14 to 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
09 - Let the donut holes cool for 5 minutes before adding the topping.
