Creamy pasta casserole with cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound (500g) fresh spätzle (from the refrigerated section)
02 - 14 oz (400g) mushrooms
03 - 1 red onion
04 - 3.5 oz (100g) cooked ham
05 - 2 tablespoons butter
06 - 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

→ For the Sauce

07 - 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons (200g) heavy cream
08 - 1 teaspoon vegetable bouillon powder
09 - Salt
10 - Pepper
11 - 1 1/2 cups (150g) grated cheese (such as Emmental)

# Instructions:

01 - Halve or quarter the mushrooms depending on their size. Finely chop the onion. Cut the ham into small pieces.
02 - Heat butter in a pan and sauté the onions. Add ham and mushrooms and brown them. Season with salt and pepper, then stir in the parsley.
03 - Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) conventional heat.
04 - Place spätzle, mushrooms, onions, and ham in a baking dish. Mix the cream with seasonings and fold in. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake the casserole for 25 minutes.
