Strawberry Brownies Quick Dessert (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Brownie Base

01 - 1 box strawberry cake mix
02 - 2 large eggs
03 - 80 ml vegetable or canola oil
04 - 5 ml vanilla extract

→ Frosting

05 - 90 g powdered sugar
06 - 40 g strawberry preserves
07 - 15 g cream cheese (optional)
08 - 22 ml milk

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray an 8x8 baking dish with nonstick spray or line with parchment paper. Set aside.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until well blended. Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the brownies are just set. Let them cool completely before adding frosting.
03 - In a small mixing bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, strawberry preserves, cream cheese (if using), and milk until smooth.
04 - Once the brownies have cooled, spread the frosting evenly over the top.
05 - Store the brownies in a single layer in an airtight container. If stacking is necessary, separate layers with parchment paper. Refrigerate if frosting is applied; otherwise, store at room temperature.

01 - To prevent frosting from sticking, store brownies in a single layer or use parchment paper between layers.
