Strawberry Lemon Bars (Printer-Friendly Version)

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
02 - ¾ cup sugar
03 - 1 large egg

08 - 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
09 - 1 tablespoon strawberry puree (from 2 large strawberries)
10 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice, or as needed

# Let's Cook!:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F. Line 9-inch square pan with parchment paper.
02 - Cream butter and sugar, beat in egg and lemon juice. Mix in dry ingredients, fold in strawberries.
03 - Spread in pan, bake 30-35 minutes until edges are golden and center is set. Cool completely.
04 - Mix strained strawberry puree with powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Spread over cooled blondies.
