01 -
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
02 -
Lightly flour a work surface or a square of parchment paper. Roll your pizza dough into a rectangle about 12 by 14 inches. Place the dough on parchment paper for easier handling during the baking process.
03 -
Brush the top of the dough with melted butter. Sprinkle minced garlic evenly over the top.
04 -
Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the dough, leaving a 1-2 inch border along one long edge and the two short edges.
05 -
Top the dough with 12 slices of ham, followed by layers of Pepper Jack cheese, salami slices, and another 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.
06 -
Add the pepperoni slices on top, sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella, and finish with chopped parsley.
07 -
In a small bowl, beat the egg with 1 tablespoon of water. Brush the egg wash onto the 3 exposed edges of the dough (2 short and 1 long).
08 -
Starting with the long edge without egg wash, tightly roll the dough into a cylinder. Use wet fingers to seal the seam and edges securely. Place the stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet.
09 -
Brush the stromboli with melted butter or remaining egg wash. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and crack black pepper over the top. Use a sharp serrated knife to cut shallow diagonal slits on the surface.
10 -
Bake the stromboli at 375°F for 25-30 minutes, or until the top and bottom are golden brown. Lift an edge to confirm the bottom is cooked properly.
11 -
Let the stromboli rest for a few minutes to avoid burns. Slice into 8-10 pieces with a sharp serrated knife.
12 -
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
