Tarte Flambée Rolls with Ham (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main ingredients

01 - 1 roll fresh tarte flambée dough (or thin pizza dough)
02 - 90g diced ham
03 - 100g crème fraîche or sour cream
04 - 150g shredded cheese (Gruyère or Emmental work well)
05 - 1 small red onion, finely diced
06 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) using the conventional setting. Peel the red onion and dice it into small pieces.
02 - Unroll the tarte flambée dough on a clean work surface. Spread the crème fraîche or sour cream evenly over the surface, leaving a small border around the edges. Season with salt and pepper, then sprinkle the shredded cheese, diced ham, and diced onion evenly over the top.
03 - Starting from one of the long sides, carefully roll up the topped dough into a tight log. Using a sharp knife, slice the log into 16 equal pieces (about 1-inch thick each).
04 - Place the pinwheels cut-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Gently press each one down slightly to flatten. Bake in the preheated oven for 17 minutes, until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

# Notes:

01 - These savory pinwheels are best enjoyed warm from the oven when they're at their crispiest.
02 - They make perfect finger food for parties, game days, or appetizers before a main meal.
