# Ingredients:

→ Sandwich Base

01 - 4 slices sourdough or thick, crusty bread
02 - 2 tablespoons honey mustard
03 - 2 slices white cheddar cheese
04 - 4 slices deli turkey
05 - Thin tomato slices from 1 medium red tomato
06 - ½ cup fresh baby spinach
07 - 4 strips cooked bacon
08 - 2 tablespoons softened butter

# Instructions:

01 - Place 4 slices sourdough on a flat surface. Divide honey mustard into four ½-tablespoon portions and spread evenly on the top side of each slice. Cut the cheddar cheese slices in half, creating 4 portions, and place one portion on each slice of bread, on top of the honey mustard. Top 2 slices of the cheese-topped bread with 2 slices of turkey each. On top of the turkey, layer thinly sliced tomato and ¼ cup fresh baby spinach per sandwich. Place 2 strips of cooked bacon on the remaining cheese-topped slices of bread. Combine halves by placing the bacon-topped slices face-down on the turkey-topped slices, creating a layered sandwich.
02 - Spread ½ tablespoon butter on the outside of each slice of bread (4 sides total). Warm a large skillet over medium heat. Place the assembled sandwiches flat in the skillet. Toast the bottom slice of bread for 3 to 4 minutes, then carefully flip each sandwich and toast the other side for another 3 to 4 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the sandwich is heated through. Transfer to serving plates and serve warm with desired sides.

# Notes:

01 - Slice your own cheese or purchase fresh deli-sliced cheese for better taste and texture compared to prepackaged slices.
