Easy cheese waffles (Printer-Friendly Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Chaffle Base

01 - 2 large eggs
02 - 1 cup finely shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
03 - Cooking spray or butter for greasing

# Let's Cook!:

01 - Turn on your Dash mini waffle maker (or standard waffle iron) and allow it to fully heat up.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs and shredded cheese until well combined.
03 - Lightly spray the heated waffle iron with cooking spray or brush with melted butter. Pour about 1/4 of the mixture (around 3 tablespoons) into the mini waffle maker. Close the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy around the edges.
04 - Carefully remove the chaffle and repeat with the remaining batter. Enjoy them warm as waffles topped with sugar-free syrup, or let them cool slightly to use as bread for sandwiches or burger buns.

# Recipe Notes:

01 - Each chaffle contains only 1 net carb, making them perfect for keto diets
02 - If using a regular or Belgian waffle maker, pour half the batter or enough to fit your waffle iron and cook for 3-4 minutes
03 - Chaffles can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days
04 - They can be frozen for up to a month - just reheat in a toaster or oven
