Rinse the green asparagus under cold water and pat dry. Snap or cut off the woody ends - they'll naturally break at the right spot if you bend them.

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, sweet paprika, grated Parmesan, a pinch of salt, and a few grinds of black pepper until you have a paste-like consistency.

Toss the asparagus in the Parmesan mixture until well coated, then arrange them in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Drizzle any remaining mixture over the spears.
