Butterscotch Haystacks Chow Mein (Print Version)

01 - 7 cups chow mein noodles
02 - 1½ cups butterscotch chips
03 - ¾ cup peanut butter
04 - ½ cup salted peanuts

# Instructions:

01 - Place the peanuts and chow mein noodles in a large mixing bowl.
02 - In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butterscotch chips and peanut butter together, stirring frequently.
03 - Pour the melted butterscotch and peanut butter mixture over the peanuts and noodles. Toss until evenly coated.
04 - Using a tablespoon, drop small mounds of the mixture onto wax paper and shape into piles. Allow to cool completely.

# Notes:

01 - To achieve a more cohesive texture, break down the chow mein noodles into smaller pieces before mixing.
02 - Use wax paper, parchment paper, or silicone mats to prevent sticking. Lay them on a baking sheet for easy movement.
03 - Instead of multiple pans, secure a long sheet of parchment paper directly onto your countertop to increase drying space.
