Fluffy donuts from the donut maker (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Donut batter

01 - 2 cups (260g) all-purpose flour
02 - 1 packet (15g) baking powder
03 - 2/3 cup (130g) granulated sugar
04 - 1 packet vanilla sugar (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)
05 - 3/4 cup (200g) sour cream
06 - 1 pinch of ground cinnamon
07 - 3 medium eggs, room temperature
08 - 7 tablespoons (100g) melted butter, cooled slightly
09 - 1 pinch of salt

→ For baking and decorating

10 - 3 tablespoons vegetable oil for greasing the donut maker
11 - 7 oz (200g) chocolate glaze or melting chocolate
12 - 1/4 cup (30g) colorful sprinkles

# Instructions:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add the sour cream and eggs, mixing until just combined. Gradually stir in the melted butter, being careful not to overmix. Let the batter rest for 15 minutes to allow the ingredients to fully hydrate and the baking powder to activate.
02 - Preheat your donut maker and brush the cavities with oil to prevent sticking. Transfer the batter to a piping bag (or use a spoon). Fill each cavity about halfway - the batter will rise during cooking. Close the lid and bake for approximately 4 minutes until golden brown. Test one donut first to determine the perfect timing for your machine.
03 - Allow the donuts to cool completely on a wire rack. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate glaze according to package directions. Dip the top of each cooled donut into the glaze, allowing excess to drip off. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with colorful sprinkles. Let set for about 15 minutes before serving.

# Notes:

01 - These baked mini donuts are a lighter alternative to traditional fried versions. The donut maker creates perfect, uniform shapes with less mess and fat than deep-frying. You can customize the toppings with different colors of chocolate, nuts, or coconut flakes for special occasions.
