Effortless Lentil Soup (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Half a bunch of parsley.
02 - 4 smoked frankfurters.
03 - 1 tablespoon of flour, if you want.
04 - 1 tablespoon of oil.
05 - 2 spicy sausage links (Mettenden).
06 - 1 teaspoon vinegar.
07 - 1 teaspoon sugar.
08 - A pinch of black pepper (quarter teaspoon).
09 - 1 teaspoon salt.
10 - 2 liters beef or veggie broth.
11 - Half a celery root.
12 - 2 carrots.
13 - Half a leek stalk.
14 - One can lentils with soup greens (around 500g).
15 - 6 to 8 medium potatoes.
16 - 2 tablespoons butter.
17 - 2 to 3 medium onions.

# Instructions:

01 - Toss in the lentils and cooked sausage, let everything bubble away for about 10 minutes, season to taste, then plate up with the frankfurters.
02 - Slice up the spicy sausages, fry them in a little oil, and if you want things thicker, dust with flour.
03 - Pour in the broth and leave everything to cook on low heat for 25 minutes.
04 - Let the onions sweat in the butter until they look see-through, toss in the soup greens and potatoes, cook for a bit more.
05 - Dice up those potatoes, onions, carrots, and celery, then slice the leek into little rings.

# Notes:

01 - Heat up the sausages separately so they taste even better.
02 - You don’t have to add sugar and vinegar, it’s up to you.
03 - Tastes great served with baguette on the side.
