Spoon the chicken on top of the rice, toss some herbs over the whole thing.

Pour the oil into a hot pan. Cook the chicken till it’s golden, about 5-7 minutes, then quickly bubble up the rest of the marinade in the pan.

Stir together honey, mustard, soy sauce, crushed garlic, and spices. Swish chicken in this for a good 10 minutes.

Give the rice a rinse, drop it into boiling salted water for 10-12 minutes, let it chill off-heat for 5 extra minutes before fluffing.
