This smoky beef and veggie stew is the real deal for cozy evenings. Every spoonful is loaded with juicy meat, bold seasonings, and crisp veggies—everyone’s gonna want seconds whether it’s for a chill get-together or just you curled up on the couch.

Timeless Favorite

This hearty soup's super easy—you can make it in advance and it gets even richer the next day. It’s awesome for winter days or a late-night comfort fix at big gatherings.

What Goes Inside

  • Base: 2 onions, 500 g beef chunks, 2 garlic cloves.
  • Veggies: Carrots, potatoes, bell peppers to give it that solid bite.
  • Flavor: Broth, tomato paste, herby spices, red wine, and paprika powder.

Here’s How It Works

Finish
Toss in more veggies, hit it with extra spices, and serve it up hot.
Simmer
Pour in some liquid, let it gently bubble for 2 hours so flavors meld together.
Sauté
Sweat the veggies, caramelize that tomato paste for big flavor.
Brown
Get the pieces of meat sizzling in batches, then set aside for later.

Getting It Just Right

The potatoes naturally thicken things up. If you want it chunkier, just keep the veggies rustic and don’t cut them too small.

Switch It Up

Try this with lamb or pork for a twist. Swap or add whatever veggies you've got, and throw in smoked paprika for extra depth.

Storing Made Easy

Chill it in the fridge for up to 4 days, or freeze for three months. Thaw slow, reheat easy—and you’re good to go.

Great Sides

Scoop it up with crusty bread, top it with crème fraîche or sour cream. Fresh herbs really brighten up each bowl.

Pure Comfort

This goulash stew nails it with deep flavors and a snap to put together. It’s a forever favorite that never disappoints.

Made At Home Wins

You call the shots on salt, seasonings, and all the goods. Make it just how you like—it beats any store-bought option, hands down.

Gentle For Kids

Dial back the spice, skip the wine, and pop in lots of colorful veggies. With a side of bread or crunchy croutons, kids will love it.

Cut Down On Waste

Store your leftovers clever—freeze what you don’t eat, then warm it up later. Saves you time and helps keep food from going to waste.

Serve Like A Pro

Dress it up with red wine, extra herbs, and a dollop of crème fraîche for a fancy feel. Serve in nice mugs to really impress on special occasions.

Global Twist

Go Hungarian with heaps of paprika, or stir in beans for a Mexican spin. Every bowl’s got a different vibe from around the world.

Meal Prep Magic

This is awesome for prepping ahead—the longer it sits, the more flavor you get. Handy for quick warm meals whenever you want.

Nail It Every Time

Toast your spices, mash up a few potatoes, and let it chill overnight for max taste. That’s how you level it up even more.
