Oreo Cake Balls Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 24 Oreos
02 - 4 oz softened cream cheese
03 - 10 oz white candy melts (Ghirardelli brand)
04 - 2 tbsp heavy cream (optional, for thinning candy melts)

# Instructions:

01 - Place 24 Oreos into a food processor and blend at high speed until reduced to a coarse powder. Add 4 oz of softened cream cheese and blend again until a smooth, uniform texture is formed.
02 - Scoop out portions of the mixture using a medium cookie scoop. Shape the portions into balls with your hands and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze for 15 minutes.
03 - In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 10 oz of white candy melts in 20-second intervals until smooth. If needed, thin the candy melts with hot heavy cream or use dipping aid chips. If using Ghirardelli brand, thinning is typically unnecessary.
04 - Dip each frozen cake ball into the melted candy coating using a fork. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. If desired, decorate with melted semi-sweet chocolate or sprinkle with crushed Oreos while the coating is still wet to ensure it adheres.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, crush Oreos in a food processor. If unavailable, place them in a ziplock bag and use a rolling pin to crush them into a fine powder.
02 - Candy melts and chocolate chips have different textures and melting behaviors. If substituting, melt chocolate chips in 20-second intervals and avoid overheating to prevent scorching.
