Pizza Grilled Cheese Sandwich (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup unsalted butter, very soft
02 - 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

→ For assembly

05 - 8 slices white bread
06 - 12 slices mozzarella cheese
07 - 6 ounces pepperoni
08 - Warm pizza sauce for dipping

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium-sized bowl, blend together the butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until smooth.
02 - Evenly spread the butter mixture over one side of each bread slice. Place them butter-side-up on a sheet tray until ready to assemble.
03 - Over medium-low heat in a skillet, lay a slice of bread butter-side-down. Add a slice of mozzarella cheese, 6 pepperoni slices, another slice of mozzarella, 6 more pepperoni slices, and one more slice of mozzarella. Place another slice of bread on top, butter-side-up.
04 - Cover the skillet with a lid to help melt the cheese. Toast the sandwich until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-5 minutes. Flip the sandwich carefully, cover again, and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is fully melted. Repeat for the remaining sandwiches.
05 - Serve immediately with warm pizza sauce for dipping. Enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - Cook the sandwiches in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
02 - Place finished sandwiches on a wire rack over a sheet tray to maintain crispness.
03 - Experiment with different bread or cheese options for variations.
04 - Double the recipe easily to serve more people.
05 - These sandwiches can be frozen and reheated later.
